The speakers have a three-way configuration and are equipped with a front-firing bass reflex port. Two eight-inch woofers handle the bass frequencies. For the midrange frequencies, there is a five-inch driver with a Kevlar cone diaphragm, providing excellent rigidity for precise sound reproduction.
Enclosure
The Balthus 90 floor standing speakers have a simple yet stylish and attractive design. The enclosure is constructed using MDF boards of varying thicknesses, secured internally for rigidity and good damping. With dimensions of 1080 x 325 x 230 mm and weighing 13 kg, the speakers are easy to place in any room. The external finish can be in black lacquer or natural veneer with a walnut wood stain.
The front panel features a phase inverter port and four drivers, which can be covered with a removable grille made of acoustically transparent fabric. The speakers come with conical screw-in spikes for effective floor coupling. On the back of the enclosure, there are gold-plated screw terminals for connecting to subwoofers, amplifiers, or other equipment.
