Dave Warren Brubeck is an American jazz composer, arranger, pianist, and leader of the "Dave Brubeck Quartet". One of the outstanding representatives of cool jazz (or West Coast jazz) of the 1950s-1960s.
Brubeck has achieved a lot in his career - his discography includes dozens of outstanding albums. One of the most famous works of the Dave Brubeck Quartet is the classic jazz composition "Take Five" (composed by Paul Desmond), recorded in 1959 and included in the album "Time Out". He has won numerous awards, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
