The active subwoofer DALI SUB P-10 DSS is equipped with a 10-inch long-throw bass driver and two passive radiators, each 10 inches. Despite its relatively compact size, the subwoofer is capable of delivering very powerful bass.

The low-frequency driver features a carbon fiber diaphragm mounted on a highly elastic suspension, providing linear piston movement with a large amplitude and effectively resisting the occurrence of self-resonances. The subwoofer is powered by a built-in amplifier with a nominal power of 300 watts.
When designing the enclosure for the DALI SUB P-10 DSS, the company's engineers implemented all their experience accumulated over years of developing high-class audio equipment. The sub's cabinet is made of high-quality MDF, with a base of 25mm birch plywood. Additionally, the cabinet features special bracing to suppress wall vibrations at high volumes, and deep internal damping.
The low-frequency driver in the DALI SUB P-10 DSS is mounted on the bottom panel, facing the floor to improve the uniformity of bass distribution in the listening room. The driver is equipped with a reliable dual basket and a massive magnet system for increased efficiency. To ensure that the quality of low frequencies is not affected by the type of flooring, the subwoofer is placed on tall conical feet.
Two passive radiators are installed on the side walls of the enclosure. The subwoofer includes controls for volume, input filter cutoff frequency, and phase, which can be adjusted using the controls on the rear panel or the remote control. Additionally, three sets of these settings can be saved in memory and recalled with a single button press. A digital LED display is provided for monitoring settings, enhancing the usability of the subwoofer in combination with the remote control.
The DALI SUB P-10 DSS features stereo line inputs as well as an LFE input for connection to an AV receiver or surround sound processor. Manual or automatic (triggered by input signal) power-on modes are available. A digital LED display is provided to monitor the subwoofer's operation, increasing user convenience along with the remote control system.
