The flagship model delights with its neat design and solid vinyl finish. Specifically designed for this speaker are two 6.5-inch midrange/woofer drivers, ensuring minimal loss. The material of their cones is a lightweight textured paper reinforced with wood fibers, providing the required stiffness and a non-uniform outer surface to minimize resonances. This innovation, long practiced by DALI, enhances accuracy and detail in sound. The drivers also feature a well-ventilated sturdy chassis to reduce vibrations.
The model uses one of the best tweeters in its class, borrowed from higher-end lines and equipped with an extremely lightweight fabric membrane, which DALI claims is twice as light as similar solutions from competitors. This tweeter significantly raises the upper limit of the frequency range, especially useful for reproducing Hi-Res formats.
The lightweight tweeter membrane has a short stroke and high displacement speed, ensuring precise reproduction of all the nuances of the musical canvas. The soft dome excellently handles even the lower end of the high-frequency spectrum and enables a smooth transition between midrange and high frequencies in conjunction with the midrange driver.
DALI Spektor 6, with a 14-kilogram enclosure, leads the budget series of speakers from the Spektor line.
