The DALI EPIKORE 11 features four 8-inch bass drivers and a 6½-inch midrange driver with a construction that includes the second-generation proprietary magnetic compound SMC Gen-2. The high-frequency spectrum is served by the hybrid EVO-K module borrowed from the DALI KORE model.
Designed to significantly reduce hysteresis, SMC Gen-2 represents the next generation of DALI's patented magnetic material SMC. SMC Gen-2, featured in the flagship DALI KORE loudspeaker, is used in the bass and midrange drivers of the DALI EPIKORE 11, as well as in the crossover inductors, offering significantly improved characteristics compared to the first-generation SMC introduced in the Epicon series in 2012. The result is a further reduction in hysteresis, flux modulation, and eddy currents in the magnetic system.
The diaphragms in the DALI EPIKORE 11 speaker drivers use a mix of paper and wood fiber, DALI's proprietary material, to reduce weight and increase rigidity.
The newly developed 6½-inch midrange driver EPIKORE features a complex embossed diaphragm structure made of paper and wood fiber used in the DALI KORE. The titanium voice coil frame and patented DALI SMC Gen-2 magnetic system further reduce mechanical losses and distortions.
The EVO-K hybrid tweeter, initially developed for the DALI KORE model, combines a 35mm soft dome tweeter with DALI's improved version of the ultra-thin ribbon tweeter.

First introduced in the DALI KORE, the DALI EPIKORE 11 crossovers use inductors with SMC Gen-2 cores. According to DALI, compared to standard air-core inductors, this technology provides lower DC resistance, a shorter signal path, and less susceptibility to crosstalk between coils, especially at high inductance values. The SMC KORE crossover coils are combined with carefully selected high-quality capacitors and resistors.
