The Chord 2Yu is an upgraded digital interface designed for the 2go, allowing the user to move away from the mandatory use of the Chord Hugo 2 DAC, and instead obtain a ready-made portable streamer/network player with digital outputs. The 2Yu case is made of aviation-grade alloy, with backlit semi-spherical control buttons for selecting the active output, power on/off, muting sound, and adjusting the brightness of the backlight.
The 2Go+2Yu set has a wide range of applications: it can be used as an audio interface between the internet and network music and any external DAC, as a network music translator receiving from a Roon server, including in multi-room setups, as a USB converter for digital audio signals, and more.
