The Plus XL.3 model is a versatile system designed for indoor use. It features a two-way configuration with a closed enclosure constructed of rubberized plastic. The woofer has an elastic surround allowing for significant displacement, enhancing the depth of the lower range.
The tweeter includes a soft dome, powerful magnet system, and enlarged voice coil. This provides an extended frequency range (up to 30 kHz) and precise sound in the audible spectrum.
These monitors perform best at low and medium volumes, as noticeable resonances may occur at higher levels. They excel in the mid and high ranges, delivering maximum detail. While the tweeter may seem excessive at times, it does not detract significantly from the overall experience. Additionally, the tweeter is highly detailed, creating an airy atmosphere. The midrange is informative and precise, while the bass, although gentle, maintains substance due to a smooth roll-off.
