Accurate and powerful bass is the hallmark of the two 192mm low-frequency drivers that provide phenomenally deep bass in a vented enclosure with a bass reflex port. Instead of the previous aluminum diaphragm drivers, highly stable titanium diaphragms are now used, designed by specialists for the low-frequency drivers: they can move even more accurately with fast musical impulses.
The important mid-range frequency range is covered by large 174 mm midrange drivers, thanks to which the GLE 90 sounds incredibly dynamic and stands out with improved dynamics, outstanding resolution, and unmatched balance. As perfect partners to the low-frequency and mid-range drivers, time-tested aluminum-manganese high-frequency drivers with a 25 mm dome are used, equipped with complex waveguides for perfect sound dispersion. Due to optimized crossovers, they can reproduce frequencies up to 40,000 Hz. The exceptional technical equipment of the current generation GLE is further emphasized by drivers with stable polycarbonate baskets and powerful magnetic drives.
The three-way GLE 90 acoustic system stands out with a modern design and can be integrated into almost any interior design thanks to its harmonious proportions. A decorative feature of the current GLE series is the black fabric grilles that attach to the front panel with magnets.
