Construction and Technologies
AR 5 is a 2-way compact speaker that can be installed on top of existing speakers in a home theater system as a "Dolby Atmos enabled speaker." Thanks to its universal design, with moderate dimensions, it can also be placed on floor-standing or compact speakers. As an alternative, AR 5 can also be used as stereo speakers or effects speakers, individually or in an existing wall-mounted home theater system. The built-in wall mount allows for easy attachment to the wall.
To achieve unmatched sound quality, Canton engineers use only the best technical components in AR 5. For example, titanium is used as the membrane material in the 154mm midrange driver and fabric for the 25mm tweeter with front transmission panel. This provides excellent transient characteristics. Silver-plated screw terminals with sockets for cables up to 10mm ensure high conductivity and guarantee a long-lasting stable connection to the amplifier.
System Configuration
You can combine the AR 5 speaker with Canton GLE series speakers to create a home theater system of your choice. For example, you can use GLE 90 as the main speaker, combine with the corresponding GLE 50 center and GLE 30 volume speakers.
