- Continuum cone with FST suspension
- Improved terminal plate
- Upgraded magnetic systems, chassis, and crossovers

The Bowers & Wilkins 700 series consists of eight models: floorstanding, bookshelf, and center channel speakers that are top-notch in sound quality and elegance. Borrowing cutting-edge technologies from the flagship 800 Diamond series, the 700 series delivers studio-quality sound in elegant, high-quality models suitable for any interior.
The new 700 series continues Bowers & Wilkins' tradition of incorporating concepts and technologies from their flagship line. Extensive research has transformed nearly every element of the new series, from cabinet construction, drivers, and finishes to key acoustic and mechanical improvements.
Beautiful Design, Premium Details
For the first time in the 700 series, slimmer cabinets with gently curved front panels and drivers installed in external "capsules" have been introduced, creating a visual and technical parallel with the 800 Diamond series. These shapes minimize the front panel's impact on sound quality, allowing the new series to acoustically "disappear" and focus solely on the music.
The new cabinet shapes, available in Mocha finish, complement the updated proportions and premium details of the 700 Series speakers. Mocha joins the previously available Gloss Black and Satin White finishes to offer a three-component range for most markets worldwide.
Enhanced Drivers, New Acoustic Forms
Advancing acoustic characteristics, Bowers & Wilkins now offers their renowned tweeter technology in a massive enclosure in four models of the new 700 series. The tweeter dome maintains the characteristics of Bowers & Wilkins' Carbon Dome model with a first resonance frequency of 47kHz, combined with enhanced ventilated voice coils and new magnets.
Sound Quality Optimization
To provide the best platform for these drivers, the new 700 series features upgraded speaker terminals, based on the 800 Series, with stronger contacts suitable for spade connectors. Audio signals pass to meticulously upgraded crossovers, which continue to use high-quality Mundorf capacitors supplemented by bypass capacitors. Heat-dissipating radiators have also been improved for even cleaner sound.
All models in the lineup feature larger diameter bass reflex ports, providing a more spacious sound with increased bandwidth.
