- Narrower cabinet
- Curved front panel with protruding driver capsules
- Continuum material diaphragm with FST suspension
- Enhanced terminal plate
- Upgraded magnetic systems, chassis, and crossovers

The Continuum diaphragm's composite construction allows for smoother transitions in behavior, resulting in a more open, neutral sound that accurately reproduces vocals and instruments with high precision and transparency.
The Bowers & Wilkins 700 series consists of eight models: floor-standing, bookshelf, and center channel speakers that offer the best sound quality and elegance in its class. Incorporating advanced technologies borrowed from the flagship 800 Diamond series, trusted by many renowned recording studios worldwide, the new 700 series brings studio-quality sound to homes in elegant, high-quality models suitable for any preference and interior.
The new 700 series continues Bowers & Wilkins' commitment to implementing concepts and technologies inherited from its flagship lineup. Extensive research over three years has transformed almost every element of the new series, from cabinet construction, drivers, and finishes, to key acoustic and mechanical improvements.
Beautiful Design, Premium Details
For the first time in the 700 series, slimmer cabinets with smoothly curved front panels and drivers mounted in external "capsules" have been introduced, establishing a direct visual and technical parallel with the 800 Diamond series. This shape significantly reduces the impact of the front panel on sound quality, minimizing sound diffraction effects on the cabinet. As a result, the new series acoustically "disappears" better than ever, allowing you to focus solely on the music without distractions from cabinet resonances.
The new cabinet shapes are not only sleeker than before but also offer a completely new Mocha finish, a beautiful, woodgrain-patterned wood that complements the updated proportions and premium details of the new 700 series speakers. Mocha joins the previously available Gloss Black and Satin White finishes, forming a three-component assortment for most markets worldwide.
Enhanced Drivers, New Acoustic Shapes
Taking a significant step forward in acoustic characteristics, Bowers & Wilkins now offers its iconic tweeter technology in a single-piece housing in four models of the new 700 series, comprising half of the entire lineup.
The tweeter dome retains the characteristics of Bowers & Wilkins' Carbon Dome model, with a first resonance frequency of 47 kHz, combined with improved vented voice coils and new magnets.
Optimization for Sound Quality Improvement
To provide these drivers with the best platform for success, the new 700 series introduces upgraded speaker terminals based on the 800 series, featuring stronger contacts and better compatibility with spade connectors. Audio signals are then fed to meticulously upgraded crossovers, continuing to utilize audiophile Mundorf capacitors supplemented by several bypass capacitors. Radiators for heat dissipation from the crossover have also been improved to achieve even cleaner sound.
All models in the lineup feature upgraded larger diameter bass reflex ports, providing a more significant bandwidth and delivering a more expansive and spatial sound.
