The B&W Diamond DB2D subwoofer belongs to the new DB line and holds a higher position compared to its younger sibling, the DB3D. It features larger ten-inch woofers that are positioned opposite each other and facing in opposite directions to reduce cabinet vibrations, resulting in precise and deep low frequencies with minimal distortion. These drivers are equipped with Aerofoil diaphragms matching the low-frequency drivers found in the flagship 800 D3 floorstanding speakers, making the subwoofer an ideal match for speakers from the well-known 800 Diamond series. B&W states that the model also pairs well with other speaker series, including CM, as well as speakers from other manufacturers.
