Bowers & Wilkins ASW610XP Subwoofer
The Bowers & Wilkins ASW610XP model from the authoritative English company Bowers & Wilkins is the most powerful subwoofer in its 600 series, designed to work in large rooms as part of a home theater system or as an additional low-frequency component in stereo systems with bookshelf or small floorstanding speakers.
The closed cabinet with a bass driver installed in the front is perfectly dampened, and the quality of assembly is impeccable, characteristic of the British brand. The large 250mm long-throw woofer has a powerful rubber surround and a diaphragm made of cellulose combined with Kevlar fibers and special bonding resins, ensuring the necessary rigidity, lightness, elasticity, and strength. This model's feature is the use of two digital ICEpower Class D amplifiers with a total power of 500 watts, with two specially combined sound coils used for the diaphragm.
On the back panel of the Bowers & Wilkins ASW610XP, there is a power indicator and a socket for connecting the power cable, a switch with three modes (On, Auto power on/off function, and standard Standby), separate volume controls for the line and high-level inputs, a low-pass filter frequency selection knob, an LPF filter selector, a three-position bass extension switch that adjusts the depth of the low-frequency range. There is also a two-position equalizer, phase switch (0 - 180°), trigger socket, RCA line input connectors, and two pairs of screw terminals for speaker systems.
The package includes height-adjustable spikes and rubber pads for decoupling the cabinet from the floor. A removable grille is included for the protection of the bass driver diaphragm.
