The 700 Series incorporates many of the most advanced technologies borrowed from our flagship 800 Diamond Series, trusted by many of the most famous recording studios worldwide. The new 700 Series brings studio-quality sound to your home in the form of elegant, high-quality models that cater to any preference and suitable for any interior.

The new 700 Series continues Bowers & Wilkins' policy of implementing concepts and technologies inherited from its flagship lineup. Through an extensive three-year research program, almost every element of the new series has been transformed, from cabinet design, drivers, and finishing to key acoustic and mechanical enhancements.
Beautiful design, premium details
For the first time in the 700 Series, slimmer cabinets with smoothly curved front panels and drivers mounted in external "capsules" have been introduced, creating a direct visual and technical parallel with the 800 Diamond Series. This form significantly reduces the impact of the front panel on sound quality, minimizing sound diffraction effects on the cabinet. As a result, the new series acoustically "disappears" more effectively, allowing you to focus solely on the music, not cabinet reverberations.
The new cabinet shapes are not only more elegant than before – they are also available in a new Mocha color finish, a beautiful, grainy wood that complements the updated proportions and premium details of the new 700 Series speaker cabinets. Mocha joins the previously offered Gloss Black and Satin White finishes, forming a three-component range for most markets worldwide.
Improved drivers, new acoustic forms
Taking a significant step forward in acoustic characteristics, Bowers & Wilkins now offers its iconic tweeter technology in a massive solid enclosure in four models of the new 700 Series, representing half of the entire lineup.
705 S3 incorporates patented Bowers & Wilkins technologies for midrange drivers, including vibration isolation for the entire midrange unit, aluminum driver chassis with tuned mass dampers to reduce resonances, fixed FST diaphragm suspension, and the renowned Continuum material, providing remarkably transparent midrange sound.
705 S3 have also been modernized with new magnetic systems and improved chassis for cleaner sound. The driver diaphragm utilizes the latest generation Aerofoil technology from Bowers & Wilkins, based on a composite "sandwich" of materials with a carefully shaped variable profile, aimed at producing cleaner, low-distortion bass.
Optimization for sound quality improvement
To provide these drivers with the best platform for success, the new 700 Series features modernized speaker terminals based on the 800 Series, with stronger contacts and better compatibility for use with spade connectors. Audio signals flow to carefully modernized crossovers, which continue to use audiophile Mundorf capacitors complemented by several bypass capacitors. Heat sinks for cooling the crossover have also been improved for even cleaner sound.
All models in the lineup are equipped with upgraded larger diameter Flowport phase inverter ports, providing more significant capacity for a more spacious and expansive sound. The 705 S3 come with super strong M6 spikes.
