New Px8 headphones from the brand representatives are said to have the best sound quality among Bowers & Wilkins models. The Px8 features brand new carbon drivers, created based on the technology used in the tweeters of the 700 series acoustic systems.

The carbon diffuser enhances resolution, detail, and sound accuracy. The speakers are positioned at an angle inside the headphones to create a natural sound perception effect, as if listening to a stereo system. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) algorithm used in Px7 S2 and Px8 is based on the same patented noise-canceling system as in Px7, which is already considered one of the best on the market. It does not distort or change the sound character, while blocking out surrounding noise.
The microphone placement in Px8 has been changed compared to its predecessors to improve call quality. There are a total of six microphones: two measure noise in the ear cups, two handle ambient sound, and another two provide clear voice transmission for calls. The changed microphone placement allows for better voice capture and more efficient wind noise reduction.
The headband construction has also been improved to provide greater comfort during long listening sessions. The fit of the ear cups has been improved for people who wear glasses. The clamping force and ear cushion design have been optimized for comfortable wearing with glasses.
Control and customization of Px8 are available in the Bowers & Wilkins Music app. Users have access to an equalizer for sound adjustment, as well as control over noise cancellation and transparency modes.
