Each new model in the 800 D4 series combines hundreds of improvements to individual components, plus several completely new technologies, creating acoustic systems with the most transparent, detailed, and natural sound ever produced by Bowers & Wilkins.
The unique and revolutionary Biomimetic Suspension for midrange drivers reimagines the fundamentals of traditional drivers. The result is unprecedented transparency and realism in the mid-range frequencies.
Each model in the new series also features an enhanced version of the legendary massive tweeter-on-top enclosure, with a longer Nautilus loading tube for even freer and more open sound at high frequencies.
Several key Bowers & Wilkins technologies from previous generations are successfully incorporated into the HTM81D4. These include the legendary diamond dome tweeter, Continuum material, FST surrounds on midrange drivers, Aerofoil bass drivers, and Flowport phase inverter port.
The HTM81D4 is a 3-way speaker system equipped with a 25mm diamond dome tweeter, 130mm FST midrange driver with Continuum diaphragm, and two 200mm Aerofoil bass drivers.
