805 D4
The bookshelf speaker 805 D4 is the most compact model in the 800 Diamond series, but equipped with advanced technologies such as a diamond tweeter and a separate massive housing for it – on top. It convincingly proves that even small things can be beautiful.
Massive tweeter housing
The legendary tweeter-on-top in a massive housing has an elongated shape, with a longer loading tube, providing even freer and more open sound on high frequencies. As before, the mechanically isolated housing is machined from a single piece of aluminum for the best suppression of resonances.
Crossover at the back
All stereo models in the new series now have crossovers located at the back on a rigid aluminum "backbone." This isolates sensitive capacitors from the influence of air pressure inside the enclosure.
Matrix
Each model in the new 800 Diamond series benefits from the improved Matrix bracing structure. Reinforced with aluminum inserts, the linked panels strengthen the speaker enclosure in all directions, suppress resonances, and create a more realistic soundstage.
