The Bowers & Wilkins 700 Series consists of eight models: floorstanding, bookshelf, and center channel speakers, which are the best sounding and most elegant in their class. The 700 Series incorporates a multitude of cutting-edge technologies. This new series brings studio-quality sound into the home in the form of elegant, high-quality models that cater to any preference and blend seamlessly with any interior.

The new 700 Series continues Bowers & Wilkins' approach of integrating concepts and technologies inherited from its flagship range. Through an extensive three-year research program, almost every element of the new series has been transformed, from cabinet design, drivers, and finishes, to key acoustic and mechanical improvements.
Beautiful Design, Premium Details
For the first time in the 700 Series, slimmer cabinets with a smoothly curved front panel and drivers housed in external "capsules" have been introduced, creating a direct visual and technical parallel with the 800 Diamond Series. This design significantly reduces the impact of the front panel on sound quality, minimizing sound diffraction effects on the cabinet. As a result, the new series acoustically "disappears" better than ever before, allowing you to focus solely on the music without distraction.
The new cabinet shapes are not only more elegant than before but are also available in a new Mocha finish, a beautiful wood with a grainy pattern that complements the updated proportions and premium details of the new 700 Series speakers. Mocha joins the previously offered Gloss Black and Satin White finishes, forming a three-component range for most markets worldwide.
Enhanced Drivers, New Acoustic Forms
Taking a significant step forward in acoustic characteristics, Bowers & Wilkins now offers its iconic tweeter technology in a massive solid housing in four models of the new 700 Series, accounting for half of the entire range.
In addition to these mechanical improvements, the tweeter dome maintains the characteristics of Bowers & Wilkins’ Carbon Dome model with a first resonance frequency of 47kHz, combined with improved vented voice coils and new magnets. Even models equipped with front-panel tweeters - 707 S3, 706 S3, 704 S3, and HTM72 S3 - benefit from these changes, alongside significant lengthening of the loading tube, which works to reduce distortion and deliver cleaner sound.
Bionics Suspension
In all 3-way speaker systems of the new line, Bowers & Wilkins has introduced the revolutionary bionics suspension, first introduced last year in the 800 Diamond Series. By replacing the traditional fabric suspension with bionics, unwanted noises during mid-range driver operation are significantly reduced.
When combined with Bowers & Wilkins' patented technologies for mid-range drivers, including suspension isolation for the entire mid-range unit, aluminum driver chassis with tuned mass dampers to reduce resonances, fixed FST diaphragm suspension, and the renowned Continuum material, the result is astonishing clarity in mid-range sound.
Sound Quality Optimization
To provide these drivers with the best platform for success, the new 700 Series features upgraded speaker terminals based on the 800 Series, with stronger contacts suitable for spade connectors. Audio signals are then directed to meticulously upgraded crossovers, continuing to utilize audiophile Mundorf capacitors supplemented by several bypass capacitors. Heat-sinking radiators for the crossover have also been improved for even clearer sound.
All models in the lineup feature upgraded larger-diameter bass reflex ports, providing greater bandwidth and delivering a more expansive and spatial sound. The 704 S3 comes with super-durable M6 spikes.
