The American edition of the album "Paranoid" by the British metal band Black Sabbath.
The record was released in 1970 - in their home country, it reached number one on the chart, but in the USA only made it to 12th place. The title track of the album was written at the last minute after the label requested a song for a single.
Black Sabbath - a British group, considered the pioneer of the heavy metal music style and has had a significant influence on the development of rock music.
The band formed in the UK in 1969. The original lineup included: vocalist - John "Ozzy" Osbourne, guitarist - Tony Iommi, bassist - Terry "Geezer" Butler, and drummer - Bill Ward. The band's albums achieved platinum status in the USA and repeatedly entered the top ten charts in England.
