The X32 Compact digital mixer belongs to the category of professional devices designed for those who need more capabilities than standard equipment. Signal Routing, Ports, and Connectors
All the jacks and connectors of the mixer are located on the back panel of its housing. Here you will find 16 main channel inputs, 6 additional line inputs and outputs, 8 XLR outputs, monitor jacks, a Talkback microphone socket, and a 5-watt lamp socket.
There are interfaces for connecting to a computer, synthesizers, and other audio equipment. The PC can be connected via USB, Ultranet, or Ethernet; for audio equipment, MIDI in/out is also available. There are 2 headphone outputs on the sides of the mixer.
Levels and mixes are controlled through the console, with both physical and virtual controllers. Through button control, inputs can be assigned to groups, with 32 channels divided accordingly. The same applies to mute and solo modes.
Sound Settings
The Digital Mixer X32 Compact features 16 fully programmable microphone preamps from MIDAS. These preamps allow for impressive sound quality even before mixing.
Further audio adjustments are made using seventeen 100mm faders, whose functions change depending on the mixer's software settings, rotary controllers, and by applying effects calculated by the built-in 24-bit processor. The main 6-band and several software EQs are responsible for frequency correction.
In addition to the main 7-inch color TFT display, each fader-linked control block has an LED mini display to inform the operator of the current console settings. The mixer can be controlled not only directly through the console but also remotely over the network.
