Behringer ZMX8210 V2 is a professional zone mixer that allows for easy routing of audio signals in multiple rooms. This type of device is ideal for restaurants, cafes, shops, institutes, schools, and similar establishments. It can also be used in studio settings, such as for monitoring during recording. The compact 1U rack-mounted design makes it easy to install in a workspace.
The mixer offers eight input channels. The first six have balanced inputs on 3-pin Euroblock connectors and can function as six mono channels or three stereo buses. These channels feature +48V phantom power for condenser microphones, as well as attenuators to reduce the input level by 20dB. The signal from these inputs can be routed to three mono buses: left and right balanced outputs and an Aux output, all of which are also presented on 3-pin Euroblock connectors. Additionally, the first channel has a threshold trigger control, which, when activated, mutes all other seven channels. Channels seven and eight have four unbalanced RCA inputs, with the sound routed to all three aforementioned buses. Each channel has a colored volume level indicator.
For sound correction at the output, there is a 4-band equalizer that can boost or cut 15dB in the 100, 300 Hz, and 3, 10 kHz ranges. There is a low-cut filter at 100Hz with an 18dB per octave slope. Multiple devices can be connected simultaneously to increase the number of input channels through the Bus Links output, presented on a 5-pin Euroblock connector. The Remote input, also on the same standard, is for connecting remote control equipment.
Behringer ZMX8210 V2 is a simple and affordable zone mixer capable of handling multiple input signals and routing them flexibly. The model stands out for its low levels of noise and distortion, ensuring the transmission of sound in its original quality with a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz. The sturdy metal housing provides reliable protection against damage during use.
