The DCX2496 offers 3 analog inputs (one of which can be used as a digital stereo input in AES/EBU format) and 6 analog outputs. You get maximum flexibility in a 1U rack format. High-quality 24-bit/96 kHz AKM A/D and D/A converters ensure ultimate sound clarity and a wide dynamic range (113 dB). Thanks to the integrated sample rate converter, easy connection of external digital devices with sample rates from 32 kHz to 96 kHz is possible. You have precise dynamic equalizers for level-dependent equalization and exceptionally musical parametric equalizers, freely assignable to all inputs and outputs, as well as limiters with "zero" attack on all output channels, ensuring optimal signal and speaker protection.
The Ultra-Drive Pro DCX2496 also offers four different mono and stereo operational modes, each with an individual crossover filter type (Butterworth, Bessel, and Linkwitz-Riley) with slopes ranging from 6 to 48 dB/octave. Delay times for each input and output can also be freely adjusted manually or automatically depending on room temperature, phase, and time discrepancies. An additional summed signal can easily be obtained from any combination of input signals A/B/C. Remote control is an essential feature of any modern equipment. The constantly updated software for the Ultra-Drive Pro DCX2496 enables remote control of one or multiple processors from a computer via RS-232 or RS-485 ports, with the Link option providing cascading connection of multiple Ultra-Drive Pro DCX2496 units through the RS-485 port.
