ULTRA-DI DI20 is an innovative active 2-channel DI box/splitter that allows you to take a signal directly from an unbalanced high-impedance output - such as an electric guitar or bass - and route it straight to a mixer or recorder. It is a must-have in the "gig bag" of any musician (especially guitarists or bassists), as well as among the standard equipment of studio sound engineers, radio, live concerts or events, or installation technicians.
The DI20 converts 2 separate unbalanced signals, coming in on 1/4" inputs, into 2 balanced signals on XLR outputs. The 2-channel and Link modes provide flexible use as a mono or 2-channel DI box, or splitter. In Link mode, the channel 1 signal is simultaneously routed to both XLR outputs and the unbalanced 1/4" jack of the second channel. With a 3-position attenuator, the input signal level can reach up to +48 dBu, while the Ground Lift switch eliminates typical grounding issues. Power can be supplied by a 9V battery or phantom power (48V). The device is made of reliable components in a compact, exceptionally durable housing.
