The integrated parametric equalizers provide extended tone shaping capabilities, while the built-in tube circuitry adds warmth and transparency to the signal. This preamp can also function as a Di Box and working level converter.
The core of this preamp is the 12AX7 vacuum tube with an ultra-low noise level to provide warm and deep sound. It can receive +48V phantom power with a soft start to avoid clicks when turning on. LED level indicators (12 steps) allow you to monitor the sound level. Discrete components provide a wide dynamic range and high level of detail, rare among other tube preamps in this budget range.
Inputs and outputs include gold-plated balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS Jack connectors located on the back of the interface. The front panel features ten stepped level adjustment knobs for setting sound levels, a built-in high-frequency filter, parametric equalizer control, and phase switch. Sources with a -10dB level can be connected: a special converter with a level up to +4dB is built in for them.
