The Behringer Europower EP4000 is a professional studio dual-channel power amplifier in class H, designed to operate in mono, stereo, and bridge modes, suitable for connecting concert speakers that require high power.
The output power of the signal processed by the amplifier depends on the impedance and quantity of speakers connected to it. In the case of stereo connection with 2 Ohm impedance, the nominal power of the signal in each channel is 1250 Watts. When connected to a 4 Ohm load, the power per channel is 950 Watts, and an eight-ohm load corresponds to 550 Watts per channel. In bridge mode, when the signal is sent to one 4 Ohm speaker, the power is 2400 Watts. With an eight-ohm load in bridge mode, the amplifier outputs 1750 Watts.
The special Accelerated Transient Response technology improves the reproduction of low frequencies transmitted through demanding subwoofers, ensuring clear and high-quality sound. The distortion level during signal processing does not exceed 0.01%.
Each of the two amplifier channels has its limiter to ensure maximum output signal level with reliable speaker protection, gain control, and signal and clipping indicators. To enhance sound quality, a switchable low-frequency filter can be used to eliminate technical noise generated by electronic equipment.
Balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS Jack connectors are used as interfaces for signal sources in the Behringer Europower EP4000, which can switch between mono and bridge modes with a nearby switch. The output connectors are SPEAKON type interfaces with locking connectors to prevent cable disconnection, and additional clamps for bare wires. Inside, power transistors are included.
