The Behringer 2600 synthesizer is a powerful analog semi-modular instrument, created as a tribute to the legendary ARP 2600 synthesizer from the 1970s. It is designed to produce incredibly rich sounds and offers extensive sound shaping capabilities, making it an ideal choice for both studio work and live performances.
Thanks to its semi-modular architecture, the Behringer 2600 allows you to start making music without the need for patch cables, while still providing ample opportunities for deep sound design through 83 or 93 patch points. This ensures exceptional flexibility and allows you to experiment with different signal routings, unlocking limitless creative possibilities. The instrument features 78 control elements, including illuminated faders, which make it easy to adjust parameters even in low-light conditions.
The Behringer 2600 synthesizer is capable of reproducing a wide range of sounds, from powerful bass lines and piercing solos to atmospheric textures, thanks to its purely analog signal path based on the original circuitry.
The Behringer 2600 is equipped with 3 primary VCO oscillators, each with an LFO mode and multiple waveforms. The instrument also features ADSR and AR sections with extended attack time adjustment, two filters, a noise generator, and a multi-mode VCF. Additional sound processing is provided by a set of built-in modules, including a ring modulator, delay, post-filter distortion, envelope follower, and a Schmitt trigger. Signal control can be done through patching, with 83 connection points available. In total, the model is equipped with 78 control elements. Connectivity options include USB, MIDI In/Thru, 2 pedal jacks, and a headphone output.
