Please Please Me is the debut studio album by the Beatles, first released in 1963. Interestingly, the album was recorded in just one day. Part of the album consisted of covers of popular songs of the time, and the other part - compositions by McCartney/Lennon. The album topped the British chart for seven and a half months in a row.
