The name "Bayadere" refers to Indian dancers and temple servants called Devadasis, who are considered chosen and dedicated to the divine in India. The Auris Baiadere 1 turntable, in a sense, is itself a temple of music: elegant, sophisticated, yet very stable.

Auris Bayadere 1 is a turntable made of high-quality aluminum. It is a well-balanced vinyl player. Its main plate is installed on leveling feet, which are precisely formed by engineers to provide reliable vibration isolation. To further reduce vibrations, the main bearing has been isolated from the base using a set of rubber rings.
The main bearing is made of high-quality stainless steel with a precision-fitted bronze cylinder, ensuring minimal resistance as the support disc rotates.
The main bearing has a stable support consisting of a ceramic ball and a Widia hardness plate over 80 on the Rockwell scale, allowing the turntable to operate silently and for a prolonged period with very little lubrication.
