Based on the professional monitor headphones ATH-M50x and incorporating technology from the iconic 20 series microphones, the ATH-M50xSTS and ATH-M50xSTS-USB provide a full spectrum of studio-quality for users and listeners on the receiving end.

The headsets are equipped with the same 45mm drivers with large apertures, providing exceptional sound clarity in an extended frequency range with deep and precise bass. The streaming headsets come with two sets of different earpads: the M50x earpads that emphasize sound quality and sound isolation, and mesh and leatherette earpads.
Both models use a cardioid condenser capsule on a flexible boom arm, ensuring perfect positioning even with head movement. The result is a rich studio-quality vocal presence without background noise at a consistent level. The headset microphone can be quickly muted by simply raising the boom arm.
The ATH-M50xSTS-USB features a non-detachable 2-meter cable with a USB-A connector for plug-and-play connection to PCs and Mac computers (via a USB-A to USB-C adapter). In addition, the ATH-M50xSTS-USB includes an analog-to-digital converter with a sampling rate of up to 24-bit/96kHz and a local effect scheme that allows for vocal monitoring in the headset (volume controlled by a wheel on the headphone).
