The Audio-Technica ATH-M50xSTS is a full-size headset specially designed for streaming, video blogging, and podcasting. Based on the professional monitoring headphones ATH-M50x and incorporating technologies from the iconic 20 series microphones, the ATH-M50xSTS and ATH-M50xSTS-USB deliver studio-quality sound for users and listeners on the receiving end.

The headsets feature the same 45mm drivers with a large aperture, providing exceptional sound clarity across an extended frequency range with deep and accurate bass. Streaming headsets come with two sets of different ear cushions: M50x cushions that emphasize sound quality and provide sound isolation, and more comfortable cushions made of mesh fabric and synthetic leather.
Both models use a cardioid condenser capsule on a flexible boom arm, ensuring perfect positioning even with head movement. The result is studio-quality clear speech without background noise, and the microphone boom arm stays in place. The headset microphone can be quickly muted by rotating the boom arm to the upright position.
The ATH-M50xSTS features a non-detachable 2-meter cable with a 3.5mm connector and a 6.3mm adapter for connection to an audio interface or other sound source. The microphone connects with a 3-pin XLR-M connector and requires phantom power ranging from 11 to 52V (DC), 2mA.
