The Audio-Technica AT-VM95E is a new elliptical cartridge.
The AT-VM95E cartridge with dual moving magnets has a special coil construction that enhances the efficiency of the moving system and ensures perfect contact between the needle tip and the groove of the sound recording. Additionally, the headshell inside the cartridge uses a special converter design that eliminates any loss of sound information and achieves the highest efficiency of the converting system.
The elliptical stylus combined with the aluminum headshell minimizes vibrations. You can always choose a different stylus shape from the VM95 series: Elliptical nude, Microlinear, or Shibata. As any needle wears out with playing records, it is essential to have the option to purchase a replacement needle.
