Description

Audio-Technica AT-VM95C is the entry-level model of the new VM95 series of cartridges. This cartridge features a stylus tip with a conical shape sharpened to 0.6 mil.

The AT-VM95C cartridge with two moving magnets has a special coil construction that enhances the efficiency of the moving system and ensures perfect contact between the needle tip and the record groove. Additionally, the cartridge utilizes a special transducer construction to eliminate any loss of sound information and achieve the highest efficiency in the conversion system.

The conical-shaped needle is less demanding in terms of installation angle adjustment, making it highly versatile and suitable for various tonearms. You can always choose a different stylus tip from the VM95 series: Elliptical, Elliptical nude, Microlinear, or Shibata. Each needle wears out with time as you play records, so it is important to have the ability to purchase a replacement needle. The approximate lifespan of the conical needle AT-VMN95C is around 500 hours.
