The Antelope Audio Orion Studio Synergy Core is a new version of the Orion Studio audio interface with 6 DSP processors and 2 FPGA architectures. This combination allows for a large number of plugins to be used in real-time without using computer resources. The interface features best-in-class converters with a dynamic range of 130 dB and can work with sample rates up to 192 kHz.

The Synergy Core FX frees up the central processor to increase system stability, allowing for reducing buffer size for recording and monitoring with less than a millisecond of latency. 2 FPGA modules provide sound mixing, dynamic processing, equalization, and reverb with effects that emulate legendary studio equipment. The 6-fold ARM-based DSP provides a wider range of creative effects on an efficient low-latency platform. No delay summing when combining multiple effects in a chain.
The device features 12 discrete high-quality preamps with up to 75 dB of gain and a dedicated Accusonic 3D engine for working with Edge and Verge microphones, fully unleashing their potential. The interface also includes a built-in Talkback microphone, and all inputs support the Go Direct function, which allows bypassing preamp controls and recording input signals directly to the converters.
On the front panel of the device, there is a display, a master gain control, and 7 function buttons. Orion Studio has 4 independent internal mixers with saved presets and configurations for channel and effects routing.
For connectivity, there are 2 headphone outputs, 12 XLR/TRS inputs, 2 ReAmp outputs and inputs, Word Clock In/Out, S/PDIF input and output, 4 TRS outputs, 16 line outputs on two DB25 connectors, 2 ADAT In/Out, USB, and Thunderbolt. The interface comes with a library of 50 emulation plugins modeling popular classic devices, each of which can be used with minimal signal latency.
