Passive Radiator
Using a carefully tuned passive radiator on the rear side improves the bass characteristics and energy transfer, loading the room more evenly and naturally. This solution allows for a lower reproduction boundary than a sealed enclosure, but unlike a bass reflex, the passive radiator does not slow down the attack and does not produce turbulent artifacts. The diaphragm of the driver is made of aluminum.
This diaphragm is characterized by high stiffness and low weight. The radiator vibrates in unison with the low-frequency driver on the front panel, which maintains the same low-frequency response regardless of the volume - therefore, the One15 provides exceptional tonal balance and soundstage at lower and comfortable listening levels. Corian Waveguide
Amphion's patented Corian waveguide ensures phase-coherent sound from the source. Designed for long-term use, Corian is a non-porous and light-reflecting material with a solid surface comparable to stone. It can easily be molded into any shape to match any design or dimensions. The Two18 waveguide provides excellent integration between the low-frequency and high-frequency drivers across a wide range of frequencies, reducing the need for time correction.
