The Amphion Krypton3X is an updated three-way flagship loudspeaker system. The new crossover design and tweeter improve the full-range characteristics with low distortion in any listening environment. It features the U/D/D (Uniformly Directive Diffusion) technology which helps the drivers maintain clarity and naturalness while reducing unwanted sound reflections from side and rear walls. All drivers are handmade in Finland using premium-class materials.

The Krypton3X is the pinnacle product of Amphion, developed over 25 years. The new tweeter and redesigned crossover enhance the Amphion Krypton3X.

The 25mm titanium tweeter combines low distortion with high extension and integrates easily with mid-range drivers, creating a time-aligned driver combination with a point source. High-quality components and internal wiring are carefully selected for the new crossover to complement the new tweeter for improved tonality and detail.

To achieve true full-range sound, the Krypton3X includes a 10-inch side-firing woofer. The rigid aluminum diaphragm and long excursion provide powerful, extended, but controlled bass. The Krypton's cabinets can be positioned with the woofer inward, which is preferred in a small room, or with the woofer outward for a wider soundstage in a larger room.

The Krypton3X features a new modern tweeter with a low crossover point inside a unique cardioid design enclosure to minimize unwanted reflections, making any room suitable for use with the Krypton3X. The unique enclosure design makes room acoustics irrelevant, as the device can easily handle any sound distortions that ordinary speakers cannot.

The cabinet construction is made of high-quality MDF with internal partitions for rigidity reinforcement and vibration minimization. The surface is covered with walnut veneer, adding elegance to the exterior.
