Amphion Krypton3X is an updated flagship three-way speaker system. The new crossover design and tweeter enhance the full-range characteristics with low distortion levels in any listening environment. It includes the U/D/D - Uniformly Directive Diffusion technology, which helps the drivers maintain clarity and naturalness, while reducing unwanted sound reflections from side and rear walls. All drivers are handcrafted in Finland using premium materials.

Krypton3X is the benchmark product of Amphion, developed over a 25-year period. The new tweeter and redesigned crossover enhance the Amphion Krypton3X.
The 25mm titanium tweeter combines low distortion levels with high extension and integrates easily with midrange drivers, creating a time-aligned driver combination with a point source. High-quality components and internal wiring are carefully selected for the new crossover to complement the new tweeter, improving tonality and detail.
To achieve true full-range sound, Krypton3X features a 10-inch side-firing woofer. Its rigid aluminum diaphragm and long excursion provide powerful, extended, yet controlled bass. The Krypton cabinets can be positioned with the woofers facing inwards, typically preferred in a small room, or the woofers facing outwards for a wider soundstage in a larger room.
Krypton3X uses a new modern tweeter and low crossover point inside a unique cardioid design enclosure to minimize unwanted reflections, making any room suitable for working with Krypton3X. The unique enclosure design means the room acoustics are insignificant, as the device can easily handle any sound distortions that traditional drivers cannot handle.
The enclosure is made of high-quality MDF with internal partitions to strengthen rigidity and minimize vibrations. The surface is covered in walnut veneer, adding elegance to the exterior.
