Small size - big sound
Love listening to music but don't have the space for a large speaker? Amphion Argon1 shelf speakers are the perfect solution. This model proves that even a small box can fill a space with big sound. With Amphion Argon1 shelf speakers, you can experience the true and full-bodied sound reproduction that is usually associated with much larger speakers.

The strengths of the Amphion Argon1 speakers are their benchmark midrange resolution and surprisingly deep bass extending down to 45Hz. With these shelf speakers, you can enjoy powerful yet remarkably detailed 3D sound in small to medium-sized rooms. The Argon1 offers you the characteristic Amphion features of neutral and musical sound reproduction.

Amphion Argon1 shelf speakers are suitable for a full-range 2.1 reference system, 5.1 surround sound home theater or near-field desktop system. In any situation, you can enjoy uncolored, natural sound that will allow you to delve deeper into your favorite recordings and discover musical nuances you would never expect from such a small box.
Amphion Argon1 are based on the laws of acoustic design, rather than “sound enhancement” electronics that interfere with signal flow. This allows you to easily place them in rooms with different characteristics while maintaining optimal performance. Amphion Argon1 guarantee high-resolution sound transparency and musicality throughout your home.
5th generation waveguide
The crossover point is quite low at 1600 Hz. Thanks to the new 5th generation waveguide, the simple signal path and seamless integration of the speakers provide maximum resolution and transparency, as well as easy placement and guaranteed performance in any environment or room.
Waveguides offer many benefits as they improve driver integration and room acoustic performance. Amphion's patented 5th generation U/D/D waveguide (Uniformly Directed Diffusion) offers an elegant solution to the challenges of loudspeaker selection.
Unrivaled midrange clarity
Exceptional naturalness and clarity make for an enjoyable listening experience. The nuances of the human voice and instruments are presented in all their glory.
Thanks to the even distribution of sound waves, the enjoyment of listening to music is not limited to a specific location. Every listener in the room enjoys the sound equally.
Design
The ventilated Argon1 enclosure is only 31 cm high and houses a pair of metal cone drivers: a 130 mm aluminum midrange driver combined with a 25 mm titanium dome tweeter, which is housed in a deep faceplate for the best sonic performance.

The claimed frequency response is an impressive 45Hz - 25kHz in an 8kg enclosure that is thinner than most loudspeakers. At the rear of the enclosure is a pair of screw terminals, which are of good quality and complement the rest of the design. Special holes allow the speaker to be hung on the wall at an angle using a mounting bracket.
