The Amp400.8 is a multi-channel amplifier 8 x 400 watts. It is built on an advanced class D platform that provides high, fast, controlled power with low distortion levels.

To achieve the necessary sound characteristics, a special buffered cascade of our own design has been added, complementing the advantages of the latest class D technology.
The buffered cascade enhances impedance characteristics and consistency between channels, so that speed, controllability, neutrality, and extremely low distortion can be expressed in an emotional manner. Although the Amp400.8 was mainly developed for immersive sound, it can also be used for other multi-channel applications.
Since all 8 channels are identical, it can also be used in a 2-channel environment to control 4 pairs of passive monitors. It works equally well with 8 Ohm and 4 Ohm loads, and pairs perfectly with all Amphion models.
The Amp400.8 has been designed and optimized for Amphion monitors, but provides excellent results with a wide range of passive speakers. Neutrik XLR and Speakon connectors offer a convenient and secure way to connect the amplifier to the rest of the system. Power cable is sold separately.
