The ADAM Sub8 is a mid-level active studio subwoofer designed for use in various studios, including home studios, or as part of a home stereo system. It meets the requirements set by Dolby for home theaters and is designed for small rooms up to 20 square meters.

On the rear panel, you can find switches for phase, automatic shut-off after 15 minutes of inactivity, and power. Additionally, this subwoofer, like all subwoofers in the ADAM series, offers balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs on XLR and RCA connectors respectively. This allows you to connect the device to almost any studio monitor system to extend the range or as an LFE channel in surround sound systems.
The ADAM Sub8 features a specially designed 8.5" low-frequency driver with a cone made of coated paper. Below it is a large bass reflex port that helps enhance the lower frequencies to be even more full and rich. The main controls are located on the front panel (including a volume control from -60 dB to +6 dB and a continuous selection knob for the low-pass filter ranging from 50 to 150 Hz). Between them, you can find an IR receiver, and the remote control included in the package allows you to adjust volume and frequencies. The maximum output power of the built-in amplifier is 160 W RMS.
