ADAM Sub 12 is a subwoofer in a sealed enclosure designed to extend the low-frequency range down to 22 Hz. It can be used in various studios, including home studios, or as part of a home stereo system. The subwoofer meets the requirements set by Dolby for cinemas.

- Sealed enclosure
- 12" low-frequency driver
- Balanced and unbalanced XLR and RCA inputs and outputs
- Built-in amplifier with up to 200 W RMS power

At the core of the ADAM Sub 12 is a specially designed 12" low-frequency driver with a paper cone. All control elements are located on the rear panel: phase switch, switchable low-pass filter, continuously adjustable input sensitivity from -60 to +6 dB, and a continuously adjustable low-pass filter at 85 Hz. The maximum output power of the built-in amplifier is 200 W RMS, with a maximum sound pressure level of >= 115 dB at a distance of 1 meter.
On the rear panel of the ADAM Sub 12, you can also find a switch for the auto standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity, which can be monitored using two LED indicators on the front panel. Additionally, this subwoofer, like all subwoofers in the ADAM Sub series, has balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs on XLR and RCA connectors, respectively. This allows you to connect the device to almost any studio monitor system for extending the range, or as an LFE channel in surround sound systems.
