The 64 Audio U12t are twelve-driver armature in-ear monitors. Four drivers handle the low frequencies, six are responsible for the midrange, one Tia driver is for the mid-highs, and another Tia driver is for the highs. A 4-channel passive crossover is responsible for coordinating the drivers.

Tia Technology
The unique design of drivers and housing without acoustic sound tubes provides transparent and realistic sound. The system reduces unwanted resonance and distortion, allowing the high-frequency Tia driver to sound freely in one large sound tube. The U12t are equipped with two main elements of the Tia system: the Tia driver and the single-sound-tube design.
Apex Core Technology
This technology aims to relieve listener fatigue by reducing excess air pressure in the ear canal. This ventilation allows musicians and music lovers to comfortably use the headphones for longer periods. Apex comes in three module variations for the U12t: mX, m15, and m20.
LID Technology
The Linear Impedance Design (LID) is a patented scheme that corrects the non-linear electrical resistance of the group of drivers in the U12t. Changing the amplifier source's output impedance in devices such as smartphones, portable devices, DAC/amplifiers, and DAP modules typically leads to a change in their frequency response based on impedance increase. Restoring proper interaction with the source and maintaining desired sound characteristics ensures stable and reliable sound reproduction.
