The A12t Custom in-ear headphones are custom headphones with twelve drivers. Designed using the full system with Tia, Apex, 3D Fit, and LID technologies, the A12t presents the signature balanced sound of 64 Audio in a completely new way. The simple design of the headphones immerses the listener in the feeling of live music, forgetting that they are primarily wearing IEMs.
Tia Technology
The special design of the drivers and housing without traditional sound tubes provides transparent and realistic sound. The system reduces unwanted resonance and distortion, allowing the high-frequency Tia driver to sound freely in one large sound tube. The 12t Custom model is equipped with two main elements of the Tia system: the Tia driver and the single-bore design.
Apex Technology
This technology is designed to relieve listener fatigue by reducing excessive air pressure on the ear canal. This ventilation allows musicians and music enthusiasts to use headphones comfortably for longer periods.
The freely moving air expands the soundstage and provides a more natural sound. It also preserves bass frequencies and helps the listener distinguish individual instruments. The Apex module is available in two variations: m15 (-15 dB) and m20 (-20 dB).
LID Technology
The Linear Impedance Design (LID) is a patented scheme that corrects the nonlinear electrical resistance of the driver group included in the U12t Custom. Changes in the output impedance of the source amplifier in devices such as smartphones, portable devices, DAC/amplifiers, and DAP modules typically lead to changes in their frequency response depending on the increase in resistance. Restoring proper interaction with the source and maintaining the desired sound characteristics ensures stable and reliable sound quality.
3D Printing and Hand Assembly
The main housing is printed on a modern 3D printer using hypoallergenic solid acrylic. The colors and materials used in 64 Audio products have been specially chosen for durability. These materials also allow digitally printed images to maintain detail.
Once the housing is printed, the production team assembles the remaining components by hand. All custom headphones are tuned and manufactured by hand based on your unique impressions. Wearing specially fitted headphones helps isolate external noise and provides a more comfortable listening experience compared to most universal headphones.
