Since 2009, LAKE PEOPLE has also produced Hi-Fi products for home use under the VIOLECTRIC brand. With the launch of this brand, music lovers with high demands in terms of sound quality and design can also enjoy LAKE PEOPLE's high-end circuits.
Fried Reim, the mastermind behind both brands, believes that all VIOLECTRIC products justify their existence solely by their electronic design, rather than relying on dubious esoteric claims:
“We design, manufacture and distribute professional grade products for broadcast, television, airports, exhibition halls, festival venues, theatres, large scale installations, private studios and more. In the private sector, LAKE PEOPLE products are becoming increasingly popular due to their outstanding quality. The VIOLECTRIC brand and product line are designed specifically to meet the specific requirements of the Hi-Fi and High-End market. We cater to pragmatists who are looking for audiophile solutions that understand technology and physics. This approach is reflected in the simple yet sophisticated presentation of VIOLECTRIC devices. We pay special attention to quality not only through circuit design, but also through production itself. Therefore, not only the development, but also the assembly of the necessary components takes place at the company headquarters on Lake Constance.
In doing so, our development team brings over 30 years of experience and countless products to the professional audio market. Among other things, the first German-made 20-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters were developed by LAKE PEOPLE in the early nineties of the last century. Most of the partner suppliers also have production in Germany - many of them even in the immediate vicinity of the LAKE PEOPLE offices in Konstanz. When purchasing a product from LAKE PEOPLE or VIOLECTRIC, you can always be sure that only the finest components are used and assembled by well-trained workers to the highest quality standards."
VIOLECTRIC HPA
VIOLECTRIC headphone amplifiers have been designed to provide maximum transmission quality for low, medium and high impedance headphones. Thanks to a special, adjustable, low-noise and low-distortion design specifically optimized for dynamic headphones, the HPA Series amplifiers meet the highest demands.
Low noise level due to low internal gain. Therefore, self-generated amplifier noise is not heard.
High output voltage thanks to 60V internal operating voltage. Ideal for high impedance headphones. More than 90% of headphone amplifiers on the market offer half this voltage!
High output power thanks to powerful amplifiers that deliver much more current than is needed for headphones. Therefore, they are excellent for low-impedance and even magnetostatic headphones.
High damping coefficient due to minimal output resistance. Therefore, they are great for complete control over reference headphones, ensuring the most accurate and smooth response possible.
The entire body and back panel are made of aluminum and have a Nextel coating. The 8mm thick aluminum front panel is milled, sandblasted and anodized in black or matte silver. Designations are laser engraved.
VIOLECTRIC DAC
When designing D/A converters, VIOLECTRIC paid special attention not only to accurate, jitter-free conversion, but also to low noise and distortion throughout the circuitry with maximum dynamic range.
VIOLECTRIC PREAMPLIFIERS
VIOLECTRIC preamplifiers have been designed to achieve the highest possible transmission quality for moving coil or moving magnet turntables and unbalanced line levels. They are equipped with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs.
Like other VIOLECTRIC devices, the preamplifiers have a Nextel coated aluminum body and backplate. The 8mm thick aluminum front panel is milled, sandblasted and anodized in black or matte silver. Designations are laser engraved.
