Klipsch is a major American manufacturer of Hi-Fi acoustics (mainly Hi-End class). The headquarters and the engineering and technology center are located in the district of Indianapolis, USA, and occupy an area of 30,000 m2.

The company was founded by 42-year-old pioneer of American audio engineering Paul Wilber Klipsch. The company was originally called Klipsch & Associates and was a small workshop in the small town of Hope, Arkansas. Paul Klipsch personally assembled each of his own loudspeakers and only in 1948 was able to afford to hire an engineer to help.

Paul Klipsch made a coup and said his weighty word, even when hi-fi was a noble occupation and a passion rather than an article of the consumer market. Klipsch's love of orchestral music prompted him to make the necessary decision in order to transfer all the timbral richness, dynamics and atmosphere of the concert to a private house. As he once put it, "sound was my credo, my hobby, it became my profession, but I consider myself an amateur — it comes from the word 'love'."

Today, Klipsch sells thousands of high-end speakers for any lifestyle, various audio devices and applications. The brand's portfolio includes home theaters, professional film equipment, computer speakers, Apple docking stations and headphones. The company is also known for its contracts for the complete sound equipment of private homes. In 1997, Paul Klipsch's name was included in the lists of the Hall of Fame of Science and Technology, along with Thomas Edison and the Wright brothers, at that time Paul Klipsch owned 23 technical patents.
