Clavia Nord, a small yet globally renowned company, is based in Sweden.

It was founded in 1983 by its main founder, Hans Nordelius, and his partner Mikael Karlsson. This is where their first electronic percussion instrument, the Digital Percussion Plate 1, came to life.
