Audma

Audma is a premium Italian Hi-Fi brand specializing in the design and production of innovative headphone amplifiers and DACs.

Audma was officially founded in 2023 by electronic engineer and passionate music lover Cesare Mattoli. However, the concept and development behind the brand's products have been shaped over several decades—Mattoli created the first prototype technology back in 1978. The company is based in Italy, where the full design and assembly cycle is carried out.

The patented ELISA technology is the main distinguishing feature of Audma products (implemented in the Maestro HPA1 and Brioso PHPA1 models). This acronym stands for Electronic Loudspeaker Imaging Simulating Amplifier. This technology simulates the sound of high-end speaker systems, transporting the soundstage "from the listener's head forward," recreating the three-dimensionality and volume of a real listening room.

Italian design and handcrafted craftsmanship: Audma devices boast an elegant appearance featuring brushed aluminum, anodized surfaces, and softly backlit analog meters.

The flagship models utilize a dual-mono architecture with separate power supplies and custom transformers to minimize crosstalk and distortion. AKM's Velvet Sound series DACs are used for digital-to-analog converters.

Users can manually adjust the Stage (virtual distance to the speakers) and Angle (their directivity angle), tailoring the three-dimensional sound to their preferences and specific headphones.
