The Yamaha XDA-AMP5400RK is a multi-room system amplifier with 4 zones and 8 channels. It is designed specifically for custom home sound system integration and is used as an additional amplifier to the XDA-QS5400RK to increase the number of simultaneous speakers or output power. The XDA-AMP5400RK is also used to increase the number of speakers to further expand coverage in additional zones with AV receivers from the same manufacturer.

The AMP model utilizes ultra-efficient integrated circuits for eight channels of crystal-clear 50 watts per channel (8 ohms) digital amplification with wide dynamic range, excellent frequency range from 5 Hz to 40 kHz (+0/-3 dB) and an excellent 108 dB signal-to-noise ratio. It supports 4 ohms impedance at 100 watts/channel and bridging up to 200 watts/channel (8 ohms).
The AMP utilizes the balanced design of audio signal processing circuitry and PML capacitors that also power our flagship AVENTAGE individual components. The result: greater realism and expressiveness for all your favorite music.
When the QS and AMP models are used together, simply connect them using the trigger connectors to automatically turn the gain zones of your choice on and off without the need for an additional control interface. The AMP also works well in conjunction with AVENTAGE series AV receivers. If the AMP is used with other sources, audio detection inputs and an infrared port provide additional control flexibility.
Mount the unit in a rack using the included brackets, or remove the brackets to mount it on a shelf. The included magnetized faceplate protects the unit from tampering and gives the unit a finished look.
