Record sound with vintage microphone preamplifier mode
Not all competitors can compare to the vintage tube preamplifier Universal Audio 610, used for recording everyone from Ray Charles to Van Halen. The Volt 476P delivers the rich sound of this iconic UA preamp thanks to the built-in tube emulation circuit exclusive to UA.
Easy to connect and disconnect
The Volt 476P allows for easy connection of audio systems to quickly get started. Simply connect microphones and guitars to the preamps on the front panel and use the line inputs for synthesizers and drum machines. Then connect studio monitors or headphones to listen to sound without delays. With Volt, you'll be creating like a pro in no time.
Universal Audio Volt 476P is a four-channel USB audio interface. All four input channels are equipped with preamps and work with microphone, line, and instrument-level signals. You can connect synthesizers and other external instruments to this card using the built-in MIDI ports.
The built-in preamps provide the characteristic vintage tone of the 610 tube preamp. Additionally, the interface features an analog compression circuit that emulates the dynamic processing of the classic 1176 studio device.
The model comes with two pairs of line outputs and two headphone outputs. It offers direct monitoring without latency and works with PC, Mac, and iOS devices. The package includes a basic version of Ableton Live and a huge library of virtual instruments and processing tools.
Among other things, like the entire Volt lineup, the Volt 476P interface has a vintage microphone preamplifier mode that emulates the UA 610 console preamp and UA 1176 compressor emulation. The device comes with software such as Ableton Live Lite, Softube Marshall Plexi Classic Amp, Softube Time & Tone Bundle, Celemony Melodyne Essential, Relab LX480 Essentials, Plugin Alliance Ampeg SVT-VR, Brainworx bx_tuner, Brainworx bx_masterdesk Classic, UJAM Virtual Drummer DEEP, Virtual Bassist DANDY, Spitfire LABS, and a 30-day free trial subscription to UAD Spark.
