Description

Since its inception, UM has adhered to the philosophy of constant innovation and continuous improvement. By investing significant resources and efforts in technology, research, and development, we have dedicated almost a decade to perfecting our IEM bone conduction technology. The result is a dual conductivity system, carefully designed to provide unparalleled sound quality.

Features:

  • Frequency response range: 20 Hz-70 kHz;
  • Number of drivers: 10 drivers;
  • Crossover: 5-way crossover;
  • Configuration: 1 dynamic bass driver + 2 midrange BA drivers + 2 high-frequency BA drivers + 4 ultra-high-frequency EST drivers + 1 patented UM piezoelectric bone conduction driver made of silver-palladium alloy.

In the Unique Melody MEST MKIII, you will find a combination of four different types of drivers. The dynamic driver handles the low frequencies, while BA drivers handle the midrange and high frequencies. An electrostatic driver is responsible for the ultra-high frequencies, and the piezoelectric bone conduction driver made of silver-palladium alloy provides full frequency compensation. The result is exceptional layering and separation, providing holographic visualization and captivating 3D representation. Experience deep resonant bass impact, rich mid-range texture, and brilliant shine of beautiful high frequencies, reflected with precision and clarity. MEST MKIII CF are an innovative achievement in the field of IEM, captivating listeners with impeccable tuning and innovative driver configuration. The design is based on the piezoelectric bone conduction driver made of silver-palladium alloy, utilizing bone conduction effect across the entire frequency spectrum. The result is a precisely balanced and captivating sound, providing comprehensive and wonderful sound perception.

Unique Melody MEST MKIII utilizes bone conduction technology, using lateral vibrations of the cavity for direct sound transmission to the inner ear through contact with the skull, bypassing the traditional earpieces. With an exceptional frequency range from 20 Hz to 70 kHz, MEST MKIII demonstrates amazing versatility. Dynamic and BA drivers operate in the range of 20 Hz - 20 kHz, while electrostatic drivers operate in the range of 10 kHz - 70 kHz. The bone sound transmission system made of silver-palladium alloy provides full frequency compensation in the range of 500 Hz to 16 kHz. Thanks to the harmonious interaction of air and vibration transmission, MEST MKIII CF provide an entirely new dimension of sound quality. With its innovative and competitive characteristics, MEST MKIII CF is a true audio wonder.

The piezoelectric bone conduction block made of silver-palladium alloy consists of 27 ceramic coatings, each with a thickness of 23-25 microns. To ensure optimal performance, each bone conduction block undergoes thorough testing for capacity, dielectric losses, offset, and resonance frequency. The use of high-temperature resistant palladium conductive paste allows for ceramic sintering at 980 °C, providing exceptional performance and reliability.

Unlike a double vibrational bone conductor with 14 ceramic coatings, the piezoelectric bone conduction driver made of silver-palladium alloy has multiple layers and increased thickness, enhancing the efficiency of bone conductor vibrations and providing clear and superior audio sensations.

The MEST MKIII features new shielding cables in cobalt-blue and pumpkin-red colors. These cables are made of pure 4-core OCC copper, with a nylon sheath and an environmentally friendly soft PVC coating. With a 26AWG caliber, these cables have extremely low resistance and minimal distortion, ensuring maximum clarity and incredibly clean sound background. Connectors are available in 2.5mm, 3.5mm, 4.4mm.

Glossary of terms
wired
The lowest frequency, Hz
20
The highest frequency, kHz

The upper limit of the frequencies reproduced by the device. The human ear hears the standard frequency range: 20 Hz – 20000 Hz.

Glossary of terms
