Description

The original amplifier module of the Shanling M30 was a perfect example of their approach to versatility. It aimed to be a versatile tool for a wide range of models, providing a clean background for sensitive earphones and enough power for more demanding full-size headphones. It served its purpose perfectly, making it the ideal "default" choice for the modular design of the M30 system.

Now, we are introducing a second choice - the High Power Headphone Amplifier Module. This new amplifier was designed with a focus on the most demanding full-size headphones, ensuring it will be ready for all types. Prototypes have been tested with various headphones over the past few months, resulting in adjustments to the design, tuning, and output power of the amplifier.

The final design features a discrete design, Sanyo solid capacitors for unique sound, and a significantly more powerful output of 3.8W @ 32 Ohm // 0.5W @ 300 Ohm. When paired with full-size headphones, you will notice higher dynamics, faster response, and better control over every aspect of the sound. It still maintains the natural tone with a slightly warmer touch that we love.

Power output

This is the useful power developed by the amplifier in the load resistance. Amplifiers are usually characterized by the highest power that can be obtained at the output, provided that the distortion does not exceed the specified permissible value. This power is called the output power of the amplifier.
